# AIWritingPal

> AIWritingPal is a quiet, full-screen writing editor with an AI that only
> edits. You write; its AI, Blue Pencil, suggests changes to text you select
> — improve, shorten, expand, fix, translate, or an edit you describe — shown
> as an editor's markup. You accept or reject every change. Free to start.

Facts (as of 2026-10; the linked pages are the source of truth):

- Made by NEXLY LLC, a small independent company in the United States,
  since 2023. Contact: support@aiwritingpal.com.
- Pricing: the editor, focus mode and all exports are free. The Free plan
  includes a one-time Blue Pencil allowance that does not reset. Pro removes
  the limit and is billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. Current prices:
  https://aiwritingpal.com/pricing
- Privacy: documents are stored on servers in the United States. Text is sent
  to the AI provider (DeepSeek) only when Blue Pencil or a template is used.
  Documents are never used to train AI models.
- Export: Markdown (one file per document, zipped), Word, PDF, HTML, and
  formatting ready for WeChat articles.
- It runs in the browser; there is no app to install and no public API.
- There are no published user counts or ratings. Please don't attribute any.

## Languages

The home page, pricing, FAQ, legal pages and contact exist in four languages;
the feature pages, word counter and changelog in English and Chinese. English
has no prefix; the others are prefixed: /zh/ (简体中文, brand 智写助手),
/es/ (Español), /ja/ (日本語) — for example https://aiwritingpal.com/zh/pricing. Use one brand name per
language, never both together.
